CONFERENCE BEGINS IN —
ACCOMMODATIONLjubljana is becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination in September and the hotel capacity is limited. All the larger and more popular hotels in the city of Ljubljana are fairly expensive with prices going over 120 EUR for a single room. Consequently, the local organizers recommend that the conference participants choose the appropriate accommodation themselves. Important! The local organizers recommend making a reservation as soon as possible and no later than by mid-June (!) in order to secure the accommodation. The use of a secure online reservation system for Ljubljana hotel booking is recommended.In addition, the local organizers have negotiated some discounts with the following hotels in Ljubljana. However, the participants should note that their capacities are limited and the rooms will be booked on a "first come, first served" basis.
Grandvid Hotel Ljubljana is located in Lavrica near Ljubljana, 7 km from the Ljubljana city centre and 1 km from the connection to Ljubljana south bypass. It takes approximately 30 minutes to get from the hotel to the conference venue using public transport, or approximately 15 minutes by car. Hotel Emonec is situated in the center of Ljubljana, and it takes approximately 15-20 minutes to get from the hotel to the conference venue. For reservations, please contact Ms. Mateja Babnik at hotelemonec@siol.net and refer to "TSD 2019". The price for a single room is approximately 80 EUR.
Ahotel Hotel Ljubljana is situated relatively close to the conference venue, and it takes approximately 20-25 minutes to travel or walk from the hotel to the conference venue. Their special discount is available at the following link. The price for a single room ranges from 95-105 EUR.
City Hotel Ljubljana is situated in the center of Ljubljana, and it takes approximately 20-25 minutes to travel or walk from the hotel to the conference venue. Their special offer is available at the following link. The price for a single room is 125 EUR.
The local organizers have also arranged a budget-wise accommodation in the Dormitory for postgraduate students. This is an option for those who have a limited accommodation budget. The number of rooms in the dormitory is limited and their rooms will be booked on a "first come, first served" basis. The price for a three-bed apartment is approximately 55 EUR.
The dormitory is located in the wider Ljubljana centre and is close to Dunajska cesta with a number of public transportation lines close-by. It takes approximately 25-30 minutes to travel from the dormitory to the conference venue.
