Algorithm for Route planning for autonomous ground vehicles (AGVs)

Autonomous ground vehicles (AGVs) are robotic vehicles that can perform some or all aspects of their operations without the need for direct input from a human. They may operate by following preprogrammed waypoints, or use more complex capabilities such as machine learning, computer vision and artificial intelligence to make decisions and navigate through their environments.

The aim of this project is route planning with respect to the current ground (humidity, type of terrain surface), respecting forbidden zones, etc.
Terrain properties are given in rectangles of 20x20 [cm], and the terrain size is approximately. 20x20 [km].

The algorithm should find approximately the most efficient trajectory in a fraction of real-time vehicle movement. 20 [km/h] in a terrain with an option of "replanning" the route..
A preferred solution is based on discrete representation, and the algorithm should be convenient for efficient use of GPU or AVX instructions.

The algorithm developed might be experimentally used for AGV
