SW description: |
Height Map Viewer is a complex software tool designed for exploration of samples engraved into the surface of any material and measured by the confocal microscope. It enables particularised surface exploration, admeasurements of sample heights and distances, comparison of samples, computation of various statistics, showing 2D and 3D views of the surface, etc. The tool originates from the laser engraving modelling and simulation research, is developed in Java and is usable not only for engraved samples, but also for viewing of any height maps represented in a described input format. |
