SIFT Face Recognizer is a tool designed for Automatic Face Recognition (AFR), i.e. automatic identification of persons from digital images. The recognition task is based on the SIFT (Scale Invariant Feature Transform) features. These features have the ability to represent faces uniquely and allows a successful face recognition. This tool can be used to generate the SIFT features representation of a face from a digital image. The representation is then saved as a xml file. The second function the tool is the face recognition itself. Three different matching methods are implemented: Aly, Lenc-Kral and Kepenekci algorithms. The SIFT Face Recognizer was developed mainly for testing and evaluation of the methods and for adjusting parameters influencing the accuracy of these methods.
